Groundbreaking held for new headquarters of Sullivan-Palatek on 33 acres along U.S. 20. Michigan City.
Groundbreaking was held Thursday morning for a $14 million, 160,000-square-foot building on Michigan City's southwest side that will be the new headquarters for Sullivan-Palatek.
The building is on 33 acres along U.S. 20, not far from County Line Road. The company manufactures portable diesel and direct-drive rotary-screw industrial air compressors.
The project will result in a state of the art manufacturing facility. Completion date is scheduled for next summer.
